63-72 Rear Back Half Kit, Level 3 Airbag | Porterbuilt

The Rear Level 3 Back Half Dropmember is a modular suspension system designed to replace the factory components and improve ride quality, performance, aesthetics, and strength. It is available in both outboard & inboard 4-link configurations, allowing the use of up to a 15" wide wheel.

Ride height measures approx. 4-5”, and the frame will rest on the ground when deflated (measurements are taken from bottom of the frame rail under the cab to the ground).

Available for 12" and 15" wide wheels. Outboard 4-link for wheels up to 12" wide. Inboard 4-link for 15" wide wheels.

Available for 28", 30", & 32" diameter tires.

This kit can also be used to convert from a long bed to a short bed.

Designed to be paired with our Dropmember Level 3 Front.

Porterbuilt Inner Frame Stiffener

Porterbuilt boxed inner frame stiifener provides additional strength and support for your truck. The Back Half specific Inner Frame Stiffener sports a shorter design that includes an adjustabel transmission mounting bracket.

The Inner Frame Stiffener is built using 3/16" steel and includes the necessary grade 8 hardware for installation.

Airbags

Firestone F9000 Air Spring Kit - This standard Firestone air spring offers maximum load support and operates at up to 100 psi. The spring has a 1/4" inflation port, a ride height of 8.25" and a maximum diameter of 5.70".

Shock Kits

KYB Excel-G gas shocks and struts rely on velocity-sensitive valving to respond to changing road conditions for a smooth, comfortable ride. They feature sintered-iron pistons and guide rods for strength, hard-chrome piston rods for added durability, and seamless cylinders and eyerings that eliminate the typical weak points. Excel-G shocks and struts also have a patented check valve to minimize foaming and aeration and maintain control under tough conditions.

Ridetech HQ Series Shocks - The HQ (handling quality) Series shocks adds rebound adjustment for the driver who wants to tune ride quality AND handling quality to their specific taste. A wide rebound adjustment range allows you to cruise down the road in plush comfort or firm up your suspension for those Saturday morning canyon roads!
