63-87 Dropped Air Bag Crossmember | GMSS

To achieve maximum drop on the front of your C10, one option you have is installing a dropped crossmember. (aka "dropmember") A dropmember moves your suspension components up to allow your C10 to fully "lay frame". A factory crossmember will not allow your truck to lay out unless you "Z the frame" or "Pancake the Crossmember" which require extensive fabrication and know-how. A dropmember takes all the guesswork out of it and is a simple bolt-in installation.

GMSS now offers a budget friendly option for the DIY guys. Here are a few things to know about this crossmember:

• 3" Dropped Air Bag Crossmember
• Allows you to fully lay frame
• Adds Rack and Pinion Steering (Sold Separately, We recommend a 79-93 Mustang Rack and Pinion)
• Uses stock style shaft arms for control arms. (You can use any style control arms, but we recommend Porterbuilt linked here)
  
• We recommend Tie Rod Ends from GSI, Choppin Block, or All American Billet)
  
• These will work with 7-8" Air Bags (Airslamit, Slam Specialties)
• Optional Heavy Duty Shock Brackets (We suggest KYB344426 Shocks)
• Currently a 2-3 Week Lead Time on Dropmembers
