Whenever you bag your C10, one of the issues you run into is the tire hitting your factory hood hinge. The best way to solve this issue is to upgrade to a "cowl mounted" hood hinge. These Switch Suspension Hood Hinges work great and are very easy to install even for a beginner. I have these available for 60-66 and 67-72 C10s. Check out the installation video below.

They're nice hinges. But now my hood is lower than the cowl. I measured 37 times to get everything right. Under the cowl is not flat. So they tilted back, when I tightened the bottom bolts. So it kicked the hinges up. I'm gonna make spacers. Hopefully that will level out my hood. For the price they are questionable. But I love Travis and his videos and everything he's doing. Just think the hinges need to be revised
Hinges in the way of larger tires so I ordered this kit from Simple C10. Took about 4 hours to install from when I took tools out to packing up. All in all it went well with install. Instructions aren't bad at all and if you're even remotely handy you can figure out how it installs. Hood pops quick, stays up, what more could I ask for. As with anything semi custom some tweaking may be needed, and measuring is very important.
