Drop Block Kit | Simple.C10

Dial in your C10's stance with drop blocks that fit snug between your trailing arm and rear axle. Three heights available—2", 3.5", and 4.5"—let you pick your perfect drop. Works great with static drops or helps you achieve the maximum drop when paired with the Simple.C10 air ride system. U-bolts included to secure everything in place.

Included in the kit are 12" U Bolts fabricated for trailing arm trucks! 3/4 thick U-Bolts are designed to be long enough for a 4.5" drop block, but also have threads long enough to can be cut down to factory specification. Fits 60-72 Chevrolet trucks with trailing arms.

Items included in the kit:

• 2 - Drop Blocks of your choice (2", 3.5", 4.5")
• 2 - 12" x 3/4 thick U Bolts
• 4 - 3/16 Washers
• 4 - 1" High Torque Nuts

U Bolt Measurements:

• 13 1/2 from top of the arch to bottom
• 12 1/2 from bottom of arch to bottom 
• 3 1/2 wide inside 

Choosing the right Drop Block Kit:

• 2" Drop Blocks are typically used while lowering your 60-72 C10 or when installing air ride suspension with a mini c-notch. This block will allow your truck to get the maximum drop with a mini c notch and air ride.
• 3" Drop Blocks are used when you have a large step notch and running the Tinworks Suspension Trailing Arms with built in 1.5" drop.
• 3.5" Drop Blocks are used when you have a large step notch and running 20" wheels. You can use this block on smaller wheels but will have scrub issues explained below.
• 4.5" Drop Blocks are used when you have a large step notch and running 22" or larger wheels. This is the largest drop block you can install to achieve the maximum amount of drop.  You can use this block on smaller wheels but will have scrub issues explained below.

Scrub issues explained:

• When installing drop blocks, scrubbing happens with the U-Bolt or trailing arm sits below the surface of the rim. In the case of a flat tire, your U-Bolt may drag the ground. Often times, people ignore this and purchase the full 4.5" Drop Block to achieve the maximum drop. I haven't seen or heard any stories about this happening but I want everyone to be aware.
