Over the past four years, I have tried four different style rear shock relocation styles. Some I loved, some I hated. When it comes to rear shocks, there are two main things I look for: Easy installation and the more shock travel the better! Most shock relocation kits for the rear have six inches of travel which just isn't enough. That's where I created my own kit!
I took my past experience and designed the "Simple.C10 Rear Shock Relocation Kit." The kit comes with a lower trailing arm brackets that simply bolt in with grade 8 hardware and two weld-on upper brackets designed for a stud style shock. I love this style of shock because it allows different geometry angles without getting into a bind. The shock has 9.7" travel distance which is more than enough for any style bag setup.
The Kit Includes:
- 2 - Weld-On Upper Shock Brackets
- 2 - Bolt-On Lower Trailing Arm Shock Brackets
- 2 - KYB Shocks
- 1 - Grade 8 Installation Hardware Kit

Design Update History: I'm always focused on making a good product even better. I constantly test my products and take feedback very seriously to improve the parts I offer. Below you will find a list of dates when design updates were made. This helps me communicate changes and allows me to be transparent through the design process.
6.6.25: After the initial installation on my 1960 Sonny, I tested the design on my 1966 C10 named Lucky. Because of the different frame, I made a couple design changes. The lower trailing arm bracket is now longer and at more of an angle. The upper bracket angle was increased to mount easily on the step notch without modification. The 1963-1972 trucks require a different shock collapsed height of 14" max. After trying multiple shocks, I found a compressed 13.8 and extended 23.5. This shock required a inside diameter shaft of 1/2". The new shock has a wider bottom flange so I changed the shock stud kit to a Grade 8 Hardware Kit to retain the shock angle.
